This time of year takes us from the introspection of Lent, through the sacred days of the Triduum, the glory of Easter and our call to discipleship at Pentecost. Our parish is offering the following opportunities to deepen your spiritual experience during this journey.

Stations of the Cross - 4pm - Small Church
All Fridays of Lent, except Good Friday which is at 3pm

Lenten Soup Suppers
As part of the Renew my Church initiative, our parish is invited to participate in Soup Suppers and Reflection at St. Isaac Jogues Parish this year. Soup will be served on March 16, March 23, March 30 in the Holy Family Room at 7pm and will also feature a speaker each night for reflection.

Lenten Reconciliation Service
March 26 - 10am - Large Church

As a faith community, let us join nearly 14,000 Catholic communities across the United States in a life-changing Lenten journey of encounter with CRS Rice Bowl. Pick up your family’s CRS Rice Bowl and don’t forget to download the CRS Rice Bowl app! May these 40 days better prepare us to encounter ourselves, our neighbors and our God.

Holy Week and The Triduum

Palm Sunday - April 9
Regular weekend Mass schedule
Weather permitting, 4pm, 9am and 11am Masses will begin outside with a Procession with Palms

Holy Thursday - April 13
Potluck Seder Dinner - Begins with the Seder Blessing at
5:30pm in the Café

Mass of the Last Supper - 8pm - Large Church. All are
encouraged to participate in the Washing of Feet at this Mass.

All are invited to bring non-perishable food items to donate
for the needy. Baskets will be set up where you can place
your items which will be included as part of the offertory.

Following the reception of Communion, the congregation is
invited to join in the Transfer of the Holy Eucharist and
Adoration in the Small Church. The Small Church will remain
open until midnight.

Good Friday - April 14
“The Seven Last Words” by Haydn - Noon to 3pm - Small
Church, featuring Scripture readings with responses played by
“Quattro Santa Marta" String Quartet, a professional ensemble.

A Free Will offering is collected to help defray expenses.

Stations of the Cross - 3pm - Small Church
Celebration of Our Lord’s Passion - 8pm - Large Church, will
include Veneration of the Cross

Holy Saturday - April 15
Annual Easter Egg Hunt - 10am - Rectory Garden (Pre-registration required)
Blessing of Baskets - Noon - Small Church

The Great Easter Vigil - Begins at 8pm with the lighting of the
new fire in front of the Small Church

Easter Sunday - April 16
7am Mass - Small Church, led by the Fil Am Choir
9am Mass - Large Church, with brass and choir
9:15am Mass - Small Church
11am Mass - Large Church, with brass and choir

Please remember to return your Rice Bowl banks to the Spirituality Library or the Rectory by April 30th.

Sacrament of Confirmation - April 30, Sunday
3pm at St. Isaac Jogues, Bishop Perry will preside

First Communion - May 13, Saturday  - 11am Mass - Large Church

St. Martha Library

The St. Martha Library (Room 11, Big Church) is open before & after masses for anyone wishing to browse. In addition to an assortment of books and videos for rental, a mini-gift shop offers items for sale. Proceeds from the shop are used for a variety of church needs. The room may also be used for meetings.
Come visit.

The Library, as a fundraiser, we are using a new recycling outfit. We will collect used ink jet and toner cartridges, cell phones, MP3 Players, GPS devices and digital cameras. Please bring any of these items to the Library for recycling and eventually cash for St. Martha.
